The Approach

During a shark expedition in Los Cabos, this shortfin mako made several passes around us. It seemed to grow more comfortable with our presence, circling and coming closer each time. I was excited to see it and simply enjoying the encounter as it unfolded.

Sharks have always seemed deeply misunderstood to me. They deserve both respect and protection.
